The Californian CONsortium who purchased the complex http://www.fftrinity.com have one thing in mind and it is not about caring for people who live in their homes. It is about using the resources (tenants) to pay for their own buildings to be refitted so the whole complex can be turned around and sold for a profit. The tenants are the ones who are funding the whole project while they live in their own construction zone. No compensation has ever been offered to any tenant because of the construction going on every day here where we all live! - that would be counter productive, wouldn't it!.
We were told when they guttered and closed the facilities that we would have our facilities which we pay DAILY!!! and DO NOT GET ANYMORE!! for in April 2007, then excuses to end of June, then excuses to end of July. No idea when we will be able to use or have facilities again.
They have only ever PUT PRICES UP - like rents up 35% !!!! and DISREGARDED SERVICES HERE... all in the name of PROFIT. They are interested in DOLLARS only and have never offered any compensation for not providing any facilities or construction zone -- for over 7 months now!!
The have a bunch of kids working for minimum wage and 50% of their rent to work and live here - Circus!
We just need some new owners, oh but they could be worse, if they really really tried!

I toured today and the renovations look nice. The staff was helpful and friendly (all adults) I was told the rents went up for the improvement inside the apartments (not the gym) You should shop around. Lake Oswego is full of ugly apartments... at least the owners care enough to update the place. Business is about making a profit right? Consumer Aware

Absolutely true about rehabbing so it can be sold for a profit. That's the business of apartments - get as much money from the residents as you can while keeping costs down low.
