When we first moved in I already knew that they had jacked the prices up because management thought they were putting all these nice things into it. Looked nice but not nice enough for the size. We have had problems since day one, A water leak in the master bathroom coming from upstairs. It took a couple of days for them to show up the first time and then gave some lame excuse why it couldn't be fixed right away. So it stopped then happened two more times within the next two months, again more lame excuses from the office and maintenance staff. They entered our apartment on two separate occasions for work orders that we never even put in. When I contacted the office the just apologized and when asked about how they get permission to enter they just told me that they take it over the phone without verifying anything.

Ooh...that's not good. You should mention to your manager that you are aware of the Oregon Revised Statute that says if they enter your apartment without permission, you get a whole bunch-o-free-rent...They'll stop invading your privacy pretty quick. :)
