Nice but comes at a cost...

Been a renter here for two years and have mostly enjoyed my stay. No one mentioned how noisy the train tracks were or the noise from the nearby restaurant/bar.
The apartment itself has been great but...it does come at a cost. I thought I was shocked at the first rent hike after my first year. The second rent hike was triple the increase from the first. Needless to say they don't care about keeping loyal renters. I had no intentions of moving but adding a $1000 onto my annual rent was just a slap in the face.
If you don't mind that kind of treatment, then this is a comfortable place. Just stay away from the tracks and the restaurant!
