We have lived here for almost two years now Oct. 2002-Oct.2004 and still here. The master bedroom is large and spacious, the living room and dining room spacious as well. The kitchen is fair size for apartment, and second bedroom and bath are small.
PROBLEMs with APARTMENT:
BESIDES EVERYTING!! Here is a rundown. The outside lights are always broken and literally hanging off with exposed wires. The lights that are present even when they are fixed don't have enough light to see in the dark. The parking lot has multiple holes in the parking spaces, you have to be careful getting out of your car so you don't fall and get hurt. The electrical socekts in the bathrooms are pulled out of the walls, there is moss and mold all over the building and walkways which gets slippery when wet. Neighbors are noisy, loud music, parties, slamming doors, pot smoking, public drunkeness, obscene language. People are fixing cars under their parking stalls. Apartment's don't have very good sound barriers: can hear people upstairs walking, playing loud music, fighting. Can't keep windows open because people in building across and upstairs burn plastic in fireplace and it floods apartment with smoke, and the people downstairs smoke and it drifts upstairs into our apartment.
The space between the toilet and tub in secod bathroom is so tight it is hard to clean the tub adequately. The cabiets are falling off in second bathroom, and in the kitchen the cabines are chipping and cracking, and the shelves are collapsing in the pantry. The rug is pulling up and away from wall in multiple spots. Overall the workmanship of the apartments is OLD, SHODDY, POOR QUALITY, and NOT AT ALL WORTH THE MONEY WE PAY!!!! When you call for maintenance and service for poblems it takes forever and the service people are lazy idiots. A monkey with a wrench could probably do a better job!!!! Management has had too may turnovers, some of the team is rude, and lazy, others are helpful like Maria and Vaughna. This is not the place to rent. When we first got here they made a big deal aout how they cared about the needs of the renters, and how they screened the residents very carefully before renting It is apparent that neither is he case any longer.
If we could find the right house right now to buy we'd be gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you rent here after reading all of this and all the negativeresponses you are a FOOL!!!!!
