I have lived at Oswego Pointe for almost 2 years and would move if I wasn't saving up for a house and hate moving!

At first glance you think the property is well kept and after living here awhile you notice how bad it is: broken lights, unsafe lighting of paths (too dark at night), moss grows on stairs, handrails, and sidewalks and is dangerously slippery when wet. People park in the red zones and don't get towed, they park in front of the walk ways and don't get towed. If you are handicapped in a wheelchair etc. forget living here because if you are lucky enough to get an apartment on level ground, you'd be lucky to get to it. The people who block the walk ways with their cars have no consideration for anyone trying to walk to their apartment let alone if you have a wheelchair! The apartments are not handicap accessible or senior friendly!

The maintenance crew is a joke! They are quick to respond, but once they get their the jobs are never done properly or are done as cheaply as possible.

I keep hearing complaints about thermastats going out in apartments all around me. As a matter of fact one apartment had three go out and they still aren't working right!

The blonde leasing agent is rude, snotty, not helpful and acts as though you are imposing on her when you go into the office. The guys are nice and helpful, never rude and always pleasant to deal with. The blonde needs to get the broomstick out of her butt and be nicer to the tenants and remember it's their rent checks that pay her salary!

The apartments are old, and getting rundown, things are breaking all the time, and the carpets are dirty from all the dirt, pine needles and moss you carry in on your shoes.

And what's up with all the huge dogs that live in the buildings! When we moved in their was a size limit now it seems as though any size dog will do. People don't always clean up after the dogs either and their is nothing worse than stepping in doggy do on the path to or from your apartment.

There are people who appear to be homeless or living in their cars that dig in the dumpsters and leave trash all around when they do. Which is going to lead to rats and mice if it hasn't already!

If you are looking for apartment living in Lake Oswego look somewhere else!

Why is it that all of the bad postings are by anonymous? I have lived at many apartment communities throughout Oregon and California and this is the best place I have found. I think because the people here are so rich that they expect too much and don't know how to be satisfied with what they have. Try living in other communities and see what you get. Go ahead and compare. Most people that live here are in between houses and don't have anything to compare it to. There are also many people that have lived here for many years, ten or more, and they love it. My neighbor has been here for ten years! And I love the staff!! There are several blondes in the office and all of which are so nice!! If this person is trying to save money, you are in the wrong place. Try out someplace less expensive and see what service you get! I assure you that while no place is perfect, this is as close as you will get!
