Parkridge

I lived in one of two secure bldgs - apartment really pretty quiet as long as everyone was in their apartment. Patios are noisy and seem to amplify noise. Don't think units were always rented to the best picks of tenants--many had trouble with the "quiet hours" mangement relatively unreponsive to complaints.
Little workout area useful. Pool clean, hot tub could be cleaner.
Parking...didn't pay for assigned covered parking-all other parking a free-for-all and sometimes a real pain to find someplace near building. Pet friendly - neighborhood nice.
The whole water/sewer thing is a bit weird-be sure to get the skinny on it. Water temps a bit inconsistant-and if you're the first to take a shower in the bldg...turn the water on 10 minutes before you want to get in brrrrr!
Biggest Complaint:
Getting any kind of notification that a package had been delivered to you and is being held in the office! It is apparently the responsibility of the tenant to know when something is coming and dutifully go to the office and inquire about it - because trust me, no one in the office is going to make any effort to notify you of a package sitting there! If you are someone who gets surprise packages from Mom, find another place to live, get a PO Box or work into your schedule weekly trips to the office--
Don't count on getting any deposit monies back either. There are more bogus charges than I've seen anywhere else - move out 31st, pay rent for the 1st & 2nd of the following month?? OR unpaid utilities...but no one seems to be able to send you a closing bill-just "trust 'em" it's right.
