**New update**
I've seen from others and there ads that Greenridge has made great improvments. I'm sure the unit I have in B building the shoebox unit just about anything would help a lot. But I love seening they did away with the splatter paint on the counters.
And I've read that others have noted good improvements...now if only HSC wasn't the management company so I could rent there again. But I do need a roomy garage though so I guess I need to seek out a single family home now.

Hope things stay better...as it is a great place there.
Benjamin

Whiel I am writting this out of outrage over a neighbor two floors away who was rude and had a party till 1230PM for the umpth time...this time luckily no pot smoke.

First off I need to site that there is two complexes in one 215 and 200 the 200 is the nice part andthe 215 is the crappy part but both have issues.

This is the second time I've lived here. First time was with the time of the two Heathers and reasonable rates for what you got. Now 3 years later so so management same company though. An new ownership. Went from cost efficiant owners to downright cheap --- ownership.

I can only speak to my unit. An my prvious one. I loved the old unit. It was just nice and sunny and cheery. Sure needed some little things but was nice.

My current one is awful needs to be gutted and remodeled. Looks as it did when new plus wear and tear. Only remodle was a coat of paint and poor repalcement parts. Oh an I'd like to tell every property owner that the coating you have choosen to spray over formica counter tops "Was not intended for that purpose" its inventor a Sherwin-Williams employee" (an old friend of mine) created it for gun safes. Not for kitchen counters. Frankly it looks like ----. Sorry but it does it only tells me you were to cheap to simple either replace counter tops with new formica or do tile. Oh and doing that and installing fake tile in isn't a remodle job.

Plus the advertizing price taktiks really piss me off internet prices are all over the place and when you get there totally different management companies love to play games. I hate it personally. I am paying $515 for a efficiancy 225sq ft unit yes I think I am paying way too much. Cause my unit it awful. It was painted with flat paint (Yu never paint a apt with flat paint. Ever...Cabintets have never been replaced from when they were built 23 years ago. Its a hidios unit the trash shute is right off the front door I hear every person at all hours tossing out the trash. I've neighbors two fllors away who seems to think they own the place and have parties very regularly long after the 10 PM noise requirement an sooone is smoking pot..I hate that even more. SO what I should be paying is a lot loess for the many annoances. $435 is pretty close for this spicific unit.

I wish I would win the big lottery I'd buy the whole complex hire a different management Co. they've been here far too long. An properly go through each unit an do a good corret remodle. An to top it off fairly set prices not on how much one thinks they can jack the price on some silly market gae but on the true colt of the unit. Oh and stop charging the tenante water sewer and garbage thats insane. I don[t mind the covered parking at $20 per month its about the only realitic thing left here.

But as a side note.
1. I've not voiced my concerns with management /ownership so in all honesty I need to give them fair chance to responde.
2. Mountian park houseing stock of apartments is getting old over all. It's only saving grace is its premiere status due to its being apart of Lake OSwego and it's noteriaty with Urban Planning of which I am vastly knewledgable about as that is my field.
Lastly I'll post my responce from management and ownership which likely they ask me to move cause that is what cheap people do get ride of the compalaints by any means possible
oh an yeah I'm still pissy over the rude downstairs neighbors tonight.

Cheers-
BJF

Yes, I agree. The splatter paint that is being used to cover the old kitchen and bathroom formica is not intended for that purpose. It is soft and can scratch easily. It also looks cheap. I have also seen dishonest pricing on Parkridge's Craigslist listings. I lived in the 200 section and while it was newer, it still had major problems. I also agree that Mountain Park in general is aging, and there are better complexes and neighborhoods to live in.
