i have never been as disappointed in an apartments upkeep as i am here. to the person that said, "one bad experience" let me list what has happened since moving in here 6 months ago. mold in the bathroom that has never been taken care of. an ant problem that has never been taken care of. broken door that leaks heat. broken refridgerator that resulted in 200 dollars worth of spoiled goods (took them a week to fix). rats all over outside and as i type this, the neigbor above me's toilet exploded into a gyser and flooded my bathroom with ------ water (they told me they'd clean it, all they did was sop up most of the ------ water with towels). everywhere i've ever rented i've always been treated well (carrige house especially). i've always gotten most of my security deposit back (so no need blaming me). my neigbors plumbing was broken for 3 months. another neigbor told me that they have the same bathroom mold and their kid has recently gotten sick. good luck with your experienc here

In response to this posting, We have a weekly pest control company that deals with every issue we may have with ants or insects. If a problem is reported to the office our pest control company will respond. Our Management staff and Maintenance are very professional and are on top of any problems or concerns voiced by residents. Management can not fix a problem if they are not aware that it exists. Many mildew problems stem from not having proper air circulation in your apartment and tenants are quick to blame management.

people that complain about issues that they don't tell the management suck, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR THOSE LOSERS TO COME AND TELL BS STORIES! Get a life and move if you hate it dummy. The world doesn't revolve around you.

wow! isn't it weird that on the same day the apartment has an "official response" mr. anonymous has something to say? that's crazy! last i checked this was a website to rate apartment complexs so you can shut up ------. it's not your tenents fault that you run a garbage apartment complex. the posts speak for themselves idiot

The pest control company is Halt Pest Control. They have a contract with Parkridge Apartments to provide regular-scheduled pest control. However, it's not in their best interest to provide services beyond what they are paid in their contract, and they don't! If you have a problem that requires intensive pest control, they are not going to go out of their way to investigate or resolve big issues. The ants come back every year, but new tenants learn the hard way. They have their groceries destroyed, and THEN the pest control company responds. The refrigerators at Parkridge are inexpensive GE Hotpoint models that have known issues for ice build-up which causes major leaks and other malfunctions. It also took weeks before maintenance fixed my refrigerator. It required the maintenance man to literally chip the ice out of the drain for it to function properly again. The maintenance staff may be polite but are novice in the trade. They answer to a supervisor who oversees many properties and can't be at every maintenance job to make sure it is done properly. In the end, it's the tenant that suffers.
