Do not live her I have been living Here since 1989 when they were fairly nice, over the years the aparmtent started to detiriorate, it changed owners 4 times, and there were over 15 different manegments, some of which were very nice but the most recent one, was not nice she did not like children and took every chance she could to evict, ricucule, and harrass anybody with children, and the children, and when something went missing, the blamed the nearest child, we were recentley evicted on a 30-day no cause termination of tenancy after living here over 16 years because we had a child, they also harass you for everything anybody did, when my son and two other boys (whos parents were also evicted after living here as long as we did) were playing in front of out own apartment the manager came down and yelled at the children to stay in there "units" and said if they wanted to play they had to go to the nearby park almost 2 miles away. The point is is in a matter of one year almost every familie with a child was evicted, all who which including us were good renters who had been there a long time. And besides the plain rudness of the managers, the maitnence was a mess, you are charged for everything that goes wrong, even just things you cant control, and recentley they charged us for the construction of our decks because they had to be redone because they built them wrong. The security of the complex is a joke in the last 5 years alone there have been 2 murders, 5 methanphetamine labs (one that almost blew up right next to us), a woman who hired a hit man to kill her husband in the parking lot, 20 drug offences, an assault, and many many many many break in and thefts, as far as car security goes, there have been whole raids where the entire complex's cars tires have been slashed the windows broken and some of them stolen, and the manegment wont pay for it, parking it's self is a nightmare, they have assinged parking but people often park in your spot, and you contact the manager they say its your problem. As far as maitnence goes it often takes them weeks if they do it at all to fix something, often they have to come back multiple times to fix it again, and then charge you, our apartment was falling apart we made a maitnence request, asked them politley to fix it, asked them to fix it in a formal letter threatening to withhold rent, then we withheld rent, and finally we had to contact a laywer, and they still didnt fix it we had to contact the oregon apartment association and the oregon fair housing, and the better buisnees beureu to get the apartment fixed, and guess what...........they charged us for it. and to add to all of this. the exterior was falling apart too, the first row of aparmtments facing kerr parkway looked pretty, and if you get one of those aparmtnets they look ok on the outside, but there hard to get, but all the other rows look very bad the grass is patchy people do not pick up there dog "litter" and the garbages are overflowing surrounded by flys. Plus there is a serious rodent problem rats and mice are often found dead on the side of the street, and if you rent a garage be prepared for all of your stuufed animals baby cloths, papers, and furniture to be chewd up with dead rats in it. The landscape people have no respect for peoples belongings they take there blowers and blow every thing around including your, plants, wlecome mats and christmas reifs and blow them pebbles around your cars until your cars are scratched to you know what. And in Winter this apartment complex is a night mare, ice storms, lots o snow , and heavy wind storms where trees fall onto your cars are quite common( to add the that the tree stumps where trees have fallen over are still there and rotting away. the aparmtent complex is quite steep and even with studs or chains is impossible, we had a 4x4 blazer that with chains couldnt get out. and if you do get out of the complex the street is often not plowed. last winter it tooka court order for the manager to plow the complex and only one main street. and you know what really sucks the area is very nice and its the only place ion the whole area that excepts big dogs, and dont be fooled by the advertisents they dont have a pool or a clubhouse, they do have a small dog run but its ina small dirt alley between the apartments, and 4 aparmtnets have a view the other 124 dont we have to look onto other apartments.... so if you want to have all of these things and just eventually have your life ruined ome here
