They changed management companies and ownership while I was living here, both times I had to call 3 to 4 times to get things done. The new management team has some quirks to them, if you complain long enough and call enough times about a problem they'll think about helping you out. Even then, it will not be anything close to what you want to be done. Just accept they're unresponsive and take a corp attitude to your living situation. People are nice in the apartments, the winter weather is a complete nightmare because of the steep hill but on hot summer days my apartment stayed nice and cool (in the low 80s) even when it was over 100 outside.

Over all.... find another place to live.
