This property is managed by a large corporate entity whose sole purpose for existence is to maximize profits. This translates into repairs only being made if they are inexpensive (and NEVER being made if they are not), repairs and "upgrades" being made with the least expensive materials and rent being increased frequently. The staff are the most unhelpful and incompentent I have ever encountered and with the attitude that they are entitled to be so in spite of their constant errors. Do not expect to recieve even 1 cent of your deposits back.

Content of complaints about this facility and corporate entity far exceed what would be considered normal feedback. People are frustrated and angry, and it seems the management of the Bluffs couldn't care less about that. I certainly feel that legal action is justified to rectify the abuses this company has routinely heaped on its residents. My thirty-four year-old daughter, communications instructor at Portland Community College, acting in our behalf, made numerous futile attempts to have a face-to-face meeting to discuss The Bluffs wanting to charge us $430 for nebulous reasons, above and beyond the $600 in deposits we'd already paid. When her persistence and refusal to go away was finally "rewarded" with a meeting, the manager, Christine, (fifth, I think, in the last seven months) would not discuss the issues and instead told my daughter to leave or she would call the police; and, incredibly, she did. Two nice, young police officers came out, and were polite and courteous, but the incident was bizarre, frightening and humiliating for my daughter. It seemed to be planned from the beginning, as well. That almost makes me sound like a conspiracy freak or something, but what can I say? Class action suit, anyone?
