I moved in here summer of 2002 sight unseen. I was moving from California. I was so impressed with pictures, I figured what the heck' I'm not disappointed and I figure I'll live here until I become a homeowner.

I have a 1 bedroom on the third level. I share no common walls with any neighbors except my floor being my downstairs neighbors ceiling. And my view....Don't be fooled by claims of other complexes in Mtn. Park, The Gables offer the best views period. Mine is to die for, and probably on it's own is worth my 720 rent. Bedrooms are spacious and closets are more than ample. Bathroom is designed neatly by dividing the vanity area from the toilet and shower. My only reservation is the kitchen. They not only have nasty flourescent lighting, the cabinets are this hideous European style white and oak trim!

The fireplace is a nice alternative to the electric heat which can send your bill way into the rafters in the winter. But best of all, all units include a rather efficient stackable washer and dryer. Despite the small look, you can do a decent size load of laundry in the washer.

Tenants span the whole gamet, but if one certain type of people were to dominate, I would say mostly young couples and college kids, but there are some families.

I really like this place. More than fair rent for Mountain Park.
