I have lived at the Gables for two years and have had my fair share of issues. One of my heaters hadn't worked since I moved in-even though I put in at least ten work orders requesting for this to be repaired. I have experienced numerous other issues stemming from the overdue replacement or repair of various lighting fixtures and appliances. All of my issues were overlooked and passed off for over a year. Last month new management took over and since then my pending issues and repairs have been resolved. My heater now works and my broken dining room light has been replaced with a beautiful new overhead light. My leaking washer was replaced with a new full size washer! These simple repairs that I have requested for years were taken care of within a week of my request. There was a letter put out a few weeks ago reminding everyone of the rules. Although, I was skeptical that this letter was just another notice that goes nowhere, the office did come through every apartment last week and since then I have seen a huge improvement in the patios and the amount of pet droppings left all over the community. I also like the clean up of flowers in the front entrance. We'll see what happens in the long run but I was impressed enough with the recent changes to leave this review. I will continue to call Gables my home.
