Management Unwilling to Listen to Residents

Several residents who has lived here before the new management took over, has commented on the landscaping company (previous to the current one)keeping the grounds magnificant! It has been suggested to return to this company, but for some reason, management turns on a deaf ear to it. When I first looked at this place, over a year ago, the most outstanding feature about the place was the landscape/setting. That was why I moved here. Shortly after moving in, it started to deteriorate, and just keeps getting worse. Muddy areas that used to have lush grass died last summer after the landscaping company planted grass, fertilized, and then didn't bother to check that the sprinkler system was working properly. With no water for a month...EVERYTHING died. It has still not recovered. This winter, they planted seed again. After the leaves all fell, then the landscape company came in and literally "blew" all the seed away. Smart move. When the snow stormed hit - the walks were not even addressed in snow removal; the parking lot kept many from getting out to go to their jobs. If we just could have gotten out of the parking lot...the streets were cleared! When my lease is up...I'm out-of-here. If management doesn't want to listen to the ones who pay their wages, then I'm not going to contribute anymore. Management wants to hammer dog owners for not picking up after their dogs - if I had a dog that pooped in the mud, I'm not sure I'd want to pick it up either. The residents need to know that management wants this to be a lucious place again, and I feel at that point, residents will take pride in their community and pick up after their dogs. It is difficult to care about something that doesn't look good.
