I would say that, for an apartment community, this place is pretty good. I have lived here for over two years and feel that I get a pretty good value for my rent money. The facilities are nice, I love living in Lake Oswego, and the apartment layouts are nice. The thing I like best is that Westlake Meadows doesn't "feel" like an apartment complex, it feels like you're living in a community.

Did this come straight from the brochure? My wife and I lived there for 1 year (2003-2004). While it wasn't bad but far from great. Pros: our 2 story townhouse had plenty of room. Cons: dog poo everywhere, barking dogs left in houses all day, apartments in need of maintenance, cold in winter, hot in summer, poor water drainage (swampland grounds during winter), dinky pool area, steep rent hike after 1 year. Unless more than the exterior paint and "upsell" garages have changed since our stay, beware.

You know, I'm really thankful that the managers spewing this deceptive crap are such uneducated piss-poor writers. Makes decision-making infinitely easier on my end.

I wrote this review. I still live at Westlake and still like it a lot. I was just giving my honest opinion. Just because you disagree doesn't mean you have to insult my writing ability! I originally wrote this anonymously because I didn't want to sign up for an account on this web site. As you can see, I'm not the manager. I'd give my apartment number to prove it but you guys are so hostile I don't think I want you to find me! Yeesh!
