My husband & I moved into the Cedar Tree Apartment in Oct. of 2008. For one the parking is horrible. There literally is none of you live on the side of Hildale. The noise is awful because they are right next to Barnett rd. plus you have ambulences going about every few minutes because it is close to the hospital & mercy flights. We have had domestic disturbances happening with our neigbor & what seems to be drug use. When we told the staff they did'nt seem to even care. As a female I do not come home after dark unless my husband is home because I feel unsafe in these apartments. We do not feel comfortable doing our laundry in the laundry facililty after dark because of some of the shady characters that live here. There were many things wrong with the apartment when we moved in. The blinds had holes in them (both in the living room and the bedroom), the sliding glass door handle was broken, the shower was dirty, they are terribly hot in the summer because the AC barely works...and so on. All around these apartments are just trashy and ghetto. they are not just old, the up keep is just awful. They are ugly and dated. When asking the landlord to fix something it always takes forever for them to actually do anything (other tenants have told us this same thing too). The landlord is rarely in. Bascially if you are considering living here...DO NOT DO IT! the price is too much as it is. Basically 600 a month for a trashy apartment with no washer/dryer in them & no dishwasher... that is a crap deal!
