When I first moved here I had no complaints, not one! I really enjoyed it! Friendly maintenance & staff, maintenance handled very promptly, and i felt secure. But now in the last 6-9 months things have drastically changed. Parking was always a minor inconvenience, i'd end up on the street next to the apartments because my assigned spot was across the complex, which wasn't a problem at first but in the last 6 months my car has been broken into twice. Also my security has dropped, as a female I no longer feel comfortable walking to my apartment or trying to do laundry after dark as many of the security and outside lights are rarely replaced when they burn out. Maintenance changes and government assistance programs have turned this complex trashy. All night I hear people partying, yelling, fighting... I'd say at the very least 4 nights a week I have to sleep with a loud fan on or my stereo on low next to me to try to drowned out the sounds of my neighbors around me. I have seen people passed out in common areas and in front of apartments, seen/heard numerous fights, watched DHS remove children from neighbors, and at least twice a month i see police cars in the parking lot. I've even had to call 911 twice for fights/assaults for 2 different neighbors. All the nice, friendly people I met when I moved in have all since moved out and I can easily say I was not sad to move out at all and would never recommend or go back.
