The noise from other apartments (barking dogs, music), cars pulling in to assigned spaces, and especially from neighbors coming through the walls was terrible. The sound of upstairs neighbors flushing their toilets sounded like a waterfall in our downstairs unit. We could also hear discussions, yelling, etc. It was so bad I would not recommend this place even though it was fine in other respects.

not a place to move to,carpets are spotted, pool has black fungas growing all over and laurie the manager wont have it cleaned. nothing is ever repaired and if you say anything you get told you can allways go elswear. the manager will write you up for things like a bike parked on you own porch. and if she has a dislike to you, you can look farward to a 30 day notice written to you with the words term tenant for no cause. and dont think you will get any of your deposit back. also the progress estates is in foreclosure. I was a good tenant paid my rent on time for the past 4 years and was asked to leave due to my age 7 and 3 grandaughter had to move in with me,they had no one else. i was told we dont like children at our progress estates apartments. I AM VERY SORRY I HAVE RENTED THIS PLACE AND ADVISE ANYONE NOT TO MAKE THIS BAD CHOICE.

Unless it was a senior citizen complex she could not make you move because your grand daughters moved in with you. In the future, bypass the manager and find out who the owners are by looking them up on the Jackson County Website Assessor office. Then get in touch with the owners themselves and tell them what the manager is doing, I bet they won't keep her much longer.
