An okay place to live

I'm writing this review because as someone who has lived in this apartment complex for 4 years I think can give it an honest review. When I first moved in (2004) the complex was great, my apartment was okay (it was repainted but nothing else done). Well over the years its gone downhill, the staff in the office is really disorganized (they've assigned our covered parking place to someone else twice) and for the person who said that their appliances are new I welcome them to take a look at what's been in my apartment for 4 years. The carpet stains really easily, but hopefully they replace that after I move out. All my appliances are older than they should be, the stove is so old they don't make replacements for the burner lights (the one that tells you a burner is on), the dishwasher doesn't really clean the dishes (I just use it to sterilize after I wash them), and the refridgerator make a LOT of noise when it goes on the cooling cycle. I've stayed this long because the price is great (I moved in while they were on a great discount, they were only 35% full at the time) so my rent has only increased $150 over the past 4 years.
Just another note, if their ad still says they have free cable, its a lie they charge $10/month now, which is still cheaper than dealing with Comcast yourself but still isn't free. And the courtyard (aka overlooking the swimming pool) is nice if you like listening teenages swim at all hours of the day/night or you appreciate people being able to see into your apartment at night if you have the light on and your blinds open due to the heat during the summer.
Overall its a nice place to live (if they upgrade their appliances, deal with their disorganization, and do better criminal history screenings).

I live here as well.... Management is a joke... they just fired the recent manager and grounds/maintance guy.... Garbage has been over flowing for the last week..(after the snows been gone) getting repairs done seem to take forever.... and getting the management to do something about loud & messy neighbors is almost impossible... Parking is scarce and people often take another spot with no reguards for the person that parks there... the pool/spa is nice if they keep them clean... guess i don't have alot of good things to say about this place.... always on the look out for a new better place....
