Find another place, any place

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2003
I lived here for over a year and I couldn't wait to get out. Over agressive, yet ineffective management drove me crazy with their nit-picking, constant notices, threats to evict over any thing. I filled some paperwork out incorrectly when I first moved in, I was sent an eviction notice. My dogs had puppies and I put an ad in the paper to sell them, I got an eviction notice (for running a business out of my apartment!). My kids walked across the floor of our second floor apartment, my dogs barked, I received notices. A week couldn't go by without a notice or threat to evict. I had the neighbor from Hell living downstairs from me. Played their music wall thumping load...nothing was done expect every time I asked them to turn it down they said my kids were too loud. Management did nothing about it but basically say it was my problem. And when I moved out, I got the honor of paying to redecorate their crummy apartment. I paid for new carpeting, new bathroom floors and new counter tops, even though they were far from new when I moved in. Forget getting your large deposit back, just pray you don't owe them your life when you move out. I've lived in many apartments over the years and I've never owed a cent when I moved. The whole experience was a nightmare and headache and I would recommend anyone who is looking for a pleasant, quiet place to live to look elsewhere.
