Not terrible, but far from great.

This apartment should honestly be the LAST on your list when you're hunting.

First off, the staff is always changing, it seems. I was there for two years and we blew through two managers and what seems like a dozen assistants. Most of which were temps. Now that seems like an issue that really shouldn't be a concern of mine, but it's a problem when no one in the front office seems to know what's going on half the time.

It seems as if the posted opening times and closing times (for the front office)were merely a suggestion for them. They chronically opened late and closed early. And I won't even get into the many "lunch breaks" the staff took that seemed to last all day. They rarely answered their phone throughout the day, and if you call the emergency line, you're often met with an attitude and the question "Did you call the front office yet'".

Maintenance is laughable. Be prepared to wait a LONG time for things to get done. And when they get done, don't expect for it to be a permanent solution. I had to go to Home Depot and fix a problem or two myself.

Another big issue was constant inspections. Be prepared to have SOME kind of inspection or whatever reason for them to be in your home poking around every other month or so. The popular comeback for that is: "If you don't have anything to hide..." Well the truth is, I have lots of expensive computer equipment, as I work from home. I have come home on two occasions after inspections/repairs and found my door unlocked, with no one there to offer an explanation. When they were replacing the front doors, workers would go on break and just leave the door open for anyone to just stroll in and do whatever...I have great renter's insurance, but that's besides the point. I'd rather not be victimized and go though all the mess of dealing with it.

The laundry rooms are always full and their are a lot of inconsiderate people who leave their stuff in the machines. I tried to get them to post a simple little sign that would remind people to remove their laundry in a timely manner, or it'll be moved, but they won't do a thing. Children running through the hallways screaming, and prank knocking on doors is a common occurrence, and they don't do a thing about it, not to mention, the community was starting to be filled full of undesirables. No, there's no racist intent there...

There was also a PUTRID smell that smells like raw sewage outside; that's a common thing, but I'm not sure how much fault of that is theirs, but just a heads-up.

The apartments themselves are okay, nothing fancy at all, bare minimum. It's an okay place to be, but you're going to hit that year mark and want to get into a better place soon. It's not the type of place you want to stay for five years or more.

completely agree! Management (if that's what you want to call them)sucks! Apts. suck as well and it's just an overall low class place to live, especially if you have kids>
