Barclay Village Apartments

Its a shame From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 8/23/2007 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2007   I am also an resident of the apartment complex. They are now making us pay for parking permits. They are trying to spiff up the complex which has resulted in the raising of the rent. I recently had to have some work done in the apartment and it took them over a month and a half to fix the problem. As far as violations go with the new policy's there are many apartments that do violate them but nothing ever seems to be done about it. I follow the rules and have taken down my "violations" and feel victimized by those that still have not followed suite are just getting away with it. The new management has lost our rent check twice and for them to tell us its late and we face eviction is ridiculous since we never pay late. With all the improvements they are claiming to do they tend to over look the more essential parts of the complex. I literally have to climb over garbage to get my own garbage into the dumpster. The last time i disposed of my garbage the ground was littered with maggots where the garbage was just sitting on the ground. The places that need improvement are lacking while the more cosmetic aspects are being embellished. The complex has lost most of its renters and will be loosing another when the lease is up. I highly suggest looking elsewhere the barclay village in oregon city.
