I read good reviews about these apartments and is why I moved in, but when I moved in I was met with HORROR! My Carpets are FILTHY(I found a patch of the original color which was off white, our current color is BROWN!! The apartment was NOT cleaned properly, there was dirt on the walls, the paint was two different colors. We have ants, in the Kitchen, in our BEDROOM, and even our bathroom! I have a 4 month old son, and I'm TERRIFIED of when he is able to crawl, because this apartment just feels sooo dirty! We have cats running all around the apartment complex that pee and poop everywhere! My upstairs neighbors sound like they do jumping routines from 6am-11pm! ( I don't even think they have jobs!) Loud music is always being BUMPED by my neighbors, and all I see the management doing is standing outside smoking during the day. They have never sprayed for bugs at this place, and just blame it on the bark dust... STILL THERE RESPONSIBILITY! Mt apartment is not sealed! A slug crawled in through my wall!' MY refrigerator seal is destroyed, my freezer drips! ... I have only lived here two months, all of this was wrong WHEN I moved in! We had ants the FIRST night, So I know we didn't cause this! Two months and I'm already desperate for our lease to be over! NEVER move here without seeing the Apartment YOU will live in first, and double check EVERYTHING! Watch out for ants.... and more ants! The only positive thing is.. I can always find parking *rolls eyes* Oh and even thou pets are not allowed.. our neighbors have aout 109 kittens on their porch.. living and peeing.. on hot days.. the smell of animal urine is floating through the windows.

i wss looking at reviews,looking for aplace for my brother,and read this review.I was appoled!!!I lived at forest heights,less than a year ago.we found a house to buy,and moved from here.We loved living at forst heights ,all the things that were mentioned here,were diffently not the case living there.Our apartment was very clean as well as the upkeep of the intire community.the managers were fiendly,and always available if needed.The gounds were always kept up.we did have ants in the summer,but even our new house had ants around,everyone has a problem with them this year.So I have a hard time with this bad review.

I agree, ants are just part of life here in this part of Oregon. I think peopple want everyone else to be responsible for them, thats why this person wants the property to pay to get rid of the ants. I love these apartments. They are A LOT nicer than most apartments Ive seen. Also, even in the weekends where parties and noise would be essesive the managers stay on top of it and its pretty darn quiet. Your noise complaint is bogus. As far as Ive seen only one of the managers smokes and even at a normal job you get a smoke break....so big deal if she wants a smoke. Really. I bet this person just had one bad expieriance (probaly their own fault) and feels its necassary to take the place down with them. If you are looking to rent here...Take EVERYONE else's word for it and go for it!
