Newell Creek sucks

The other person the wrote previous is right about a lot. The apartments have no padding under the carpet. The carpet is literally glued to the cement floor (for bottom units) or wood (2nd and 3rd stories). When they replace the carpet...they put new right over the top of old. And for the sound well...I'll put this nicely...the bedroom has NO sound barrier. We hear EVERYTHING!
I have nothing against the kids here either, I have a few myself, but a lot of the kids are unsupervised. One child set the compactor area on fire 2 days in a row. My children don't go outside without me there. There is also no fencing around on the North side that drops down into the gully. I have seen a child ride his bike right over the edge! He broke 3 ribs and a leg, and the complex still won't put a fence up!
The lighting outside at night stinks! Dark amber lighting along the walk ways, very hard to see.
We just got a new maintainence man...I've talked to him a few times and he's never done maintainence before in his life, but he's not doing to bad of a job.
About the manager, well she's a lot better than the one that was first here when we moved in. At least she talks to us and doesn't hide out in her house.
Parking is really bad! Some of the spaces are only wide enough for your car. Our car has door marks all over it from other cars hitting it when they open the doors. Other spaces are wide enough to park a semi truck in still have plenty of room to walk in the stall. There are enough parking spots for 1.5 per unit. I know of one apartment that has 3 cars (2 driving adults!) and they park them all right in front of the building so no one else can park there to unload. And now they have this tow company that tows cars at their own will. They towed an only car for a single working mom of 3 kids because her tags expired by 2 hours. And then they make us pay it.
Well, I guess that's enough complaining about this place now. The one good thing I guess would be that our kids don't have to stand on Beaver Creek Rd. anymore to catch the bus.
