Good building, excellent management - The building was always nice and well maintained. I don't know if I had extremely quiet neighbors or what, but I was never heard anyone once I was inside my unit. While the area can seem a little sketchy even the bums on the street are friendly and as a single, young girl I never felt threatened or unsafe - even walking home late at night. Parking was kind of expensive but worth it ...Full review of Fifth Avenue Place Apartments

Pleasant Experience - The Cornerstone got us in quickly to a nice 2 bedroom apartment when we sold our home before finding a new house. We were able to rent on a month by month basis. When we needed any repairs, they were made quickly the same day! The location is very convenient and the staff is always courteous. The renters appear to all be considerate to others and it is a comfortable and affordable place ...Full review of The Cornerstone

very nice place - I lived in CHIC for about two years. I just moved out last week for new job in California. In September 2006, I looked at least 30 places in the area before moving into CHIC. CHIC was one of the first places I saw and the more I visited other places, the more I liked CHIC; and decided that there is not much to think about. Price: In September 2006, my rent was $700 for a 2bed/1bath ...Full review of Cedar Hills Ivy Club

just don't try to move out - Was renting a unit from this place when it was sold from Princeton Mgmt group (who were perfectly friendly & pleasant to deal w/) to Cambridge. Cambridge came in and bumped my rent up by $100/month -- which was too much for me to afford and so I gave 30 days notice, cleaned the place real well and moved back down off the hill. Had an absolute NIGHTMARE of a time in moving and attempting to ...Full review of Marquam Village

Love this place! - We loved living at McCormick Pier, just a lovely peaceful place to be. The grounds are very well-maintained, it has the best river views in Portland and Waterfront Park is right at your doorstep. Walk to the Saturday Market, waterfront festivals, or cross the pedestrian bridge into the Pearl. Energy efficiency makes it cozy in the winter too. And always a security guard walking ...Full review of McCormick Pier

Smokers & Noice - The location is great downtown, but where your apartment is located is important. I live in the front of the building with Safeway across the street. Really noisy. Cars & trains all day and night. What I did not realize was the building was smoking. They have a non-smoking thing in the window, but that means their lobby I found out. The smoke comes into your apartment really, ...Full review of St. James Apartments

Great property! - Management has always been extremely attentive and friendly. Property is kept clean, and the rooftop deck is a great place to relax and enjoy the view (and the gas BBQ to make dinner). Friendly tenants, wide variety of ages/experiences, and generally very quiet. Occasionally I can hear the folks who slam their doors coming and going, but I have encountered that in most high-rises ...Full review of 735 St. Clair

Great living experience - I needed a short term living arrangement in the Downtown area and I could not have asked for a better experience. The staff has been friendly and helpful from the beginning and made made moving in easy and hassle free. It has been very quiet. I never heard any noise from my neighbors and only occasional outside noise, which is impressive considering the building neighbors PGE Park. The ...Full review of Portland Towers Apartments

Fabulous Place to Live - We have lived here for nearly 6 years and love it. The on-site management is excellent, responsive, and caring. Maintenance and housekeeping staff are wonderful as well, and the residents are diverse. The amenities are great - good gym and cozy community room, and the courtyards for each building are lovely and well maintained. Several things that appealed to us when we were ...Full review of Lloyd Place

We love it here - We rent a 2 bedroom here and have absolutely loved it. The location is fantastic - you can walk to the farmers market on Saturdays and Rose City Park is a few blocks away - and the neighborhood is quiet. The staff is fantastic, especially Michelle, who made us feel at home right away. When we first moved in, we had problems with one of our stove burners. A maintenance man was over ...Full review of The Ellington
