This is a nice complex, but does have some problems. The apartments and fittings are of ok quality and everything looks good, but sound insulation is poor. You can hear every step the person in the apartment above you takes, and stereo noise through the walls and floors keeps me awake at least a few times a week. Management don't seem too interested in dealing with noise issues either. I get the feeling that as long as you pay the rent on time they couldn't care less what you do. Maintenance are also a bit slack. The grounds are beautiful, and the complex seems pretty safe. I have noticed though that there seems to be more and more vandalism and messy people lately, from leaving trash in the stairwells to spitting in the lifts, drinking 24 packs of Coors in the common areas late at night and leaving the empty cans and glasses thrown around, and generally treating the place like they expect Mom to clean up after them. For the price, I expected better. I would not recommend this place, unless you love noise (stereos, post office trucks 24/7), and frat houses. There is definitely better available for the same price in the Pearl.

I would completely agree with this review. i would not recommend this place - try somewhere else.

I have never seen any acts of vandalism around the building since I have been here nor have I seen the dozens of beer cans scattered around the common areas. I have lived here for 3 months and as far as sound goes, you live in the city, there is construction going on all over the pearl and portland.
