Good for undergrads, not for anybody else

I moved out about a year ago (didn't know about this website until recently) but my comments are still relevant to anyone looking at this place, though I can't comment on management at this point.
The good: The location is awesome. If you're looking here you know that. Close to everything. Nice neighborhood, lots to do within easy walking distance. There's a great 24-Hour Fitness a couple of blocks away.
The bad: Noise and really rude neighbors. I lived over the courtyard. People would come in at ALL hours of the night some nights raising hell in the courtyard. Sometimes just loud/echoing drunken conversations . . . fun stuff when you're trying to sleep at 1, 2, 3 AM. One guy plopped down in the courtyard at 3AM and played his guitar for everyone. The office staff refers you to the police, and then the police were terrible and totally unhelpful. My apartment was surrounded by undergrads on each side and across the halls. They'd raise hell constantly. Routinely saw all the empty beer cans, boxes, bottles, etc. all over the property - hallways, stairwells, outside by the doors, in the elevator area in the garage, etc. It's a frat house basically (lived in one so I know). Reserved parking spot often snagged and then where do you park? Cheap, cheap construction . . . no noise insulation at all. And last, overpriced . . . incredibly over-priced.
But seriously if I were 19/20-ish and in college, I'd definitely live here if the parents would help with the rent. For mid-later-20's/30's younger professional types, I'd stay away.
