Great place to live!

The location can't be beat nor can the fees - smallest fees in the area. Solid building though old. Loved the steam heat and a/c (on the south side). Great views. Very quiet. Elevator can be slow during 'peak' hours for those on the higher floors so leave a couple extra minutes.
Walking distance to everything - incl the ball park, 23rd, grocery & other shops, downtown and Washington Park. Parking can be tight but the city parking permit (you can get one with proof that you live there like a bill) helps a lot.
Our storage area was broken into because we didn't cover the inside walls to keep others from looking in (like with sheets). Storage areas are a good size, though. We'll be smarter next time!
Want to live there again someday. Would highly recommend it.
