Quiet, close-in location - walk to work!

I am not sure what some people are complaining about. I lived on Sauvie Island - supposedly a "quiet haven" to live, and I heard speedboats at 7am, traffic every morning at 6am, highway 30 noise 24/7 across Multnomah channel! This place is super, super quiet by comparison! It might be noisier on the NW side facing burnside, but the SE side is really quiet (relatively, as I indicated). PLUS there is virtually no neighbor noise (just make sure you get a unit under one with carpet, not hardwood floors). I very rarely hear neighbors at all. Building feels solid and it has A/C which is very rare in an older high rise like this. Staff are all very nice and helpful. Maybe the person who rated this a "1" didn't pay their rent on time. Who knows. I have always had any concerns addressed pronto! Super, super reasonable rents for close-in apartments. Walk to work and save yourself a fortune on gas! Reduce your carbon emission, live a healthier lifestyle.
