Not worth it

We moved in here awhile ago. The location is great if you love being close to the city and its amenities. However, the building is nothing to write home about. Bike theft is a problem even though our apartment is supposedly secure. The front entrance always smells like an old shoe or a transient. Within the first 2 months the hot water didn't work 3 times. Also you can always count on the water temp to fluctuate from freezing cold to scalding hot during your showers. During this last cold spell it averaged about 62 degrees in our apartment. Thank goodness for blankets and warm clothes. Even though we had all of our heaters open, they would only come on for about 20 minutes every 4-5 hours. Now that the weather is getting better we have had all the heaters turned off but it is blazing hot. We have 3 windows open at all times so we don't sweat. Until March 1st the hot water and heat were included with your rent so when it was less than dependable it wasn't as upsetting. Not only are they increasing the rent by at least $100, they are now charging a utility fee of $75. These unit are not worth $870 a month. Qlkxv6lfLuuXn3BrtpO7
