I'm currently living in Altamont Summit. The apartments are nice but in the spring I had a pest infestation. Both ants and mice thought it would be cool to live on the 4th floor with me. I'm a clean person but just shy of a bug/pest bomb in my house these visitors weren't going to leave. I do have to say though that the management was very responsive to fixing the problem.

Parking is a real -----. Sometimes no spaces are available and you have to resort to parking in the handicapped space. I was ticketed but the management company paid and instituted a parking policy.

The fitness center is great when it's working. Much of the time the equipment is broken for months on end. Also, the business center rarely has the high speed internet working so don't use this as your deciding factor.

The pool - they do kick you out at 10:00 and put a lock on the gates so don't think you are going to have a relaxing midnight soak in the hot tub.

Finally, the construction isn't all that great. I have cracks in my walls and I can actually hear the downstairs neighbor when the TV is on...no kidding. Plus people just find it ok to leave their trash outside their doors for days on end.

All in all I liked my apartment but the management wasn't anything special. They were rude on almost every occassion I had to deal with them.
