Lots of hidden concerns..

I've been here almost two years, and aside form the other concerns on this board there are a few I haven't heard mentioned.

When my first year lease was close to expiring, I called to inquire about it. They told me to my surprise that I was signed on for an additional 6 months. After investigating, someone had used white-out on my original lease agreement and extended my lease, but what they had forgotten was that they needed an updated signature from me. On that "mistake" which caused quite an uproar in the office staff, they then let me live month to month at my original cost.

I had my PGE, Natural Gas, and Cable ALL mis-routed to other apartments, then one year later I got hit with all of my bills that had piled up for one year while I was paying for the upstairs apartment WHERE NO ONE LIVED!!! After contacting management several times I was never put in contact with the man who supposedly addressed these concerns. Since then management has changed hands I think twice. I ended up almost $800 out of pocket.

I stand by what others have said about noise, construction, and parking. If you have carpet in your unit, don't bother vaccuming it because the knapp comes loose so much that it clogs your vaccum. 6 months later your carpet looks damp and dirty.

The kitchens are big and spacious, but shelving, flooring, and fixtries look like do-it-yourself kits from Fred Meyers.

After the first few months I decided to keep very much to myself, and keep my nose clean because the clintele here are mainly first time renters ages 18 to 21, or older people 50 who complain about the 18 to 21 year olds. I fall in a middle catagory and my unit was far enough away from everyone
that I went kind of un-noticed.

Twice in the last month I have come home and stirred away groups of men who would be gathered around a car, then sprint off at the sign of anyone coming. When reporting these guys, all I get is excuses why they will not dispatch security. They used to have a nightly security patrol but it has been months since I have seen a patrol car. In two years my car has been broken into once.

Drivers in the complex are routinely agressive, and want to race you up the hill to the complex, then they run and turn their head when you pull in behind them. There are blind intersections within the complex where stop signs are desperately needed. People will try to whip out in front of you even if they realize they can't make it without you slamming on your brakes.

I would be more than happy to network with anyone who reads this. My Email should be posted with this...If not....
