I left a review on 8-26-03 giving this place a favorable review. My family and I only lived there 3 months and we had no major complaints to speak of. It was a nice apartment, the office staff were helpful, and maintenace staff were quick to respond. I had no troubles with car prowls or unreasonably noisy neighbors.

My only complaint was during the move out. We had only lived there 3 months, so the apartment was hardly even used. We paid professional cleaners to clean the place, including the carpets (which I might add were VERY susceptible to stains). Upon initial walkthrough, one of the office staff said she could not see any reason why we would not receive our full deposit refunded. About a week later we received the final bill and (yep, you guessed it) we were being charged for several stains in the carpet, among other things. Thankfully we had taken several photos to document the condition of the apartment. After a bit of negotiating with the staff we came to an agreement, but we were not happy about having to negotiate in the first place when we felt the apartment was in pristine condition. Although we had photos as proof and considered litigation, we decided it was not worth our time for the amount of money involved.

What it came down to was our word, against the word of the carpet cleaning business. If you saw the van that cleans the carpets here, I would question the integrity of the outfit. It looked like a 1 person operation.

So, if you live here, be sure to document the condition of the apartment upon move out! Other than that, I would move in here again.
