The apartments are cute, but they back to a school yard that is used year-round day and night.

The traffic is very noisy and the nearby shooting range makes you feel like you're being shot at.
There is mold growing on the interior and exterior walls.

It doesn't matter if you bleach it.

The carpet is falling apart and they won't replace it.

Don't believe them if they promise you a discount.

The pressed wood cabinets are crumbling, can't be fixed, and won't be replaced.

These apartments are something like 40 years old.
Rent raises at least twice a year, managers come and go about as fast as tenants.

They must not like living here either.

Garbage is always full/overflowing.
Even three bedroom apartments only get one parking space, so don't bring roomates.
The property managers peek in your windows and take photos (or so they say).
Dogs and cats roam around with no one cleaning up after them.

Oh, and my car was stolen from right outside my window, even though they say there is security at night.

I've never seen a security guard here.

The exterior lights go out and it sometimes takes days to replace them.

Just try and find a manager or maintenance person during their posted office hours.

Can't hardly be done.
The only reason I stay is because it's close to my daughter's house, and I'm too old to move again.
