Belmont Court

Belmont Court is a great place to be if you're looking to be in the middle of everything. You're a quick bike ride from the main part of Belmont, the Hawthorne strip, etc. In a car, the apt is really easy to get to. From both North and South there's an exit off I5. It's a few streets up from the Morison Bridge and about a mile from the 84. Belmont Court is one of the buildings opening up into the cool part of the Belmont area all through Mount Tabor on 63rd or whatever. There's a great community park three or four blocks east. I went there two days ago and there was a community game of KICKBALL going on. I love where I live.

I have a studio, and it feels roomy compared to other studios I was looking into, especially bigger than anything in the Pearl. This place is old, but just got renovated. In fact, the people that are living here right now are all new. I was one of the first, and moved in April. I believe it was built in 1927, but I'm not 100% sure.

As far as negatives, I don't like being quiet, but I feel forced to keep music down and whatnot because our walls are pretty thin. I probably add to the slightly negative reviews on this site =). There's a parking lot across the street that looks vacant and unnecessary (although it isn't). It's an ugly parking lot. I don't like walking down three stories and across the building for recycling and trash, but I happen to be one of the farther units away from that area. And I can't get in touch with our building manager. Other than that, I really love this place.
