We lived in a 2-bedroom, 2-story attached unit for 8 months (March - October)- we only left because of the job situation in Portland, otherwise would have probably stayed at the Binford permanently. It's a much older development, with units for sale or rent, and beautifully kept, with alot of character - our unit had hardwood floors (with carpeted stairs) in top condition, and the wiring, plumbing and appliances have been clearly updated and well-maintained. The living room had huge windows, faced a tree-lined street and the back faced a large landscaped courtyard with flowering shrubs, almost like a private park. The maintenance, which wasn't often needed, was excellent as was the landscaping throughout the development, which is exceptional. Professional, conscientous management. Decent area near the Rose City Golf Course, walking distance to a light rail station and downtown Hollywood, never had a concern re security. Quiet,responsible neighbors. In short, the best apartment we've ever lived in- felt like our own home, not a rental.
