Great place to live when I moved in. VERY fair prices, no B.S.. A Kalifornian company bought out the complex and started instigating many little extra charges, the "pet rent" on top of the fees and deposits already charged, charging for water and garbage, (things that are unheard of in Oregon), rents raised ever 6 months, etc. With the new company coming in, they managed to chase out the residents that had been there for years (the original Mgrs when I moved in prided themselves on the fact that people didn't move away, just upgraded to bigger apt there.) Once the older, long term residents left, the quality of life there rapidly started going down hill. Noise, car break-ins, etc. started to rise and Mgt would do nothing about it, except try to throw something back on you. Up until Aimco took over it was a beautiful place to live. After Aimco...just another overpriced, oversized, soulless apt complex with poor managment. And pretty baloons..I guess that's what they needed the extra money for.
