My husband and I have lived at Brookdale Glen for almost 3 years. During that time, we have watched the property and community go downhill. The parking structures are falling apart, there is mold in the apartments, I have seen 4 cars broken into in my parking lot, the Golf Creek residents drive 50 MPH through the stop sign at the bottom of the hill (I've almost been hit on my bicycle), there is a car on blocks near my building, the street light that illuminates a dangerous intersection has been burned out for 2 years, and the office staff is curt and unhelpful. Not only that, during the summer months they chained off the pool so nobody could use it because one or two residents were swimming after 10:00pm. They punished the whole community and put up extremely unprofessional signs warning that the pool was off limits to all residents. Now that the new management is here, the service is getting worse. The property is now called Breckenridge and the only thing they care about is raising the rent on everybody and making $1M worth of remodels during the summer.
If you are a potential homebuyer, I highly suggest you look for another property. My husband and I are easy-going people, but this apartment complex stressed us out and made us very unhappy.
