but give me a break: to charge what they do for this place, they should be very ashamed.
Buckman Terrace is very expensive given the current market conditions given that it is not well kept up, the staff are lazy and indifferent, and the building is very noisy.
When I moved in here, it was fairly well kept and clean, but about a year ago, new management took over. According to these people, they are working on making the place better. Honestly, since they took over, this complex has gone downhill and has become a borderline dump.
For instance, the common areas are usually dirty. There is a railing in a common staircase (read fire exit) that has been broken for over three months. The "maintenance" person has a late-60s car parked in front of the building with a For Sale sign displayed in it, which he started up in a cloud of smoke last weekend for a potential buyer.
Don't move in here -- unless you like being propositioned for prostitution on Sandy Blvd.
