Buckman Terrace

Buckman Terrace is a great place to live! From: pdxdoglovr Date posted: 1/22/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008   I found Buckman Terrace through the Oregon Humane Society website in February 2007. When I went on my initial tour, I fell in love with this well-managed, dog-friendly complex. From sitting on the rooftop deck in the summer looking at the city lights, to jogging with my dogs at the Benson High track, I couldn't be happier. I work downtown and it's just a five minute walk to MAX and fareless square---a substantial savings for commuting. If you can't afford to live in the Pearl District, Buckman Terrace is definitely close-in downtown living at its best. The apartments are extremely energy efficient, which equate to a huge savings on your electric bill. Maintenance issues are resolved immediately, and the complex grounds and building are clean and light. The maintenance staff is terrific! They have helped me unload heavy items from my car to bring up to my apartment, and they are always courteous and professional. The owners/management of this complex definitely take pride in providing their tenants with a feeling that their house is their home. You couldn't ask for more!
