I have lived at Buckman Terrace for over 8 months, and am pretty satisfied with the apartments. The location is GREAT, and if you can afford the 850 a month for a 1 bedroom, i think it is worth it. Althought utilities tend to be high, there is free parking and it is so close to downtown you won't need to drive nearly as much. It is on 3 bus lines, as well as 5 blocks from the MAX. I have never had any problems with managment, and being a college student i appreciate their laid-back ness and am not looking for a manager to be around all the time. The only downside is that unless you have a 1st floor apartment, there are no decks and you have to go to the 4th floor to smoke or hang out outside. The park attachted to the apartments its great though. I disagree with other reviews saying it is dirty. The middle staircase smells like dogs, but other than that the hallways are cleaned regularly and the staircase closest to my room never smells like dogs. The new voodoo doughnuts next door sometimes brings late night noise outside, but its not anythign more than talking that you can hear if the windows are open. Whenever something is wrong in my appartments maintence is there within an hour.
