Terrible place to live. I lived in Garden Glen for 1 year lease... and could not wait until my lease was up to move. True Ghetto apartments. The worst part is they scam you from your move in deposite by requiring you to personally contract and pay for the mandatory carpet cleaning and apartment cleaning when you move out. If you don't you will not get your deposite back.... but who says they wont lay claim to it anyways' The other thing is who pays for the rent on the days you have the cleaners in there... you do. So you have the cost of the cleaner the carpet cleaner 2 days rent the time it takes you to make those arraingements (your going to have to miss work to let them in....) add it all up and you've just spent your move in deposite... that you still have not got back yet, and legally, they do not have to give it back if they say... they need to repaint the walls or whatever.
You already have had to move all your stuff out, you cant have the cleaner in there at the same time as the carpet cleaner... you have to do the booking and make the deposite.... and would you really want to move into such a ghetto place knowing the last renter was the one who selected the carpet cleaner'
the walls are thin (you can hear EVERYTHING), the appliances are from the 70's, the cabinetry is old, the parking sucks.. there is no guest parking. At LEAST once a month there is some old mattress, couch, recliner etc. dumped in the dumpster... a true tell of the turnover rate this place has.
