Lets see where do I start'!! first of all I would never suggest living here, but if I did I definitely wouldn't recommend it especially if you have kids or plan on having any, for that matter.I have been living here for 12 monthes (way too long) & I still have 1 month left untill I am able get out of this place. I signed a 12 month lease & some how they managed to tell me my lease isn't up until the end of next month! (Sketchy!) this has been hell! My apt. has been broken into twice, MY vehicle has been broken into 3 times as well as 3 other cars I have seen w/ broken out windows, & People are always racing around the complex w/ their loud obnoxious cars. All they can tell me is "unfortunately crime doesn't have an address". As far as the inside, well, I have had ants all over my kitchen and bathroom for the past 10 mos. & they won't do anything about it. When I first moved in I had fleas jumping all over me & I had never even had an animal, There is mold in all of the window seals, and they gave me a $275 pet fine because they saw a dog out outside of our apt. (someones elses dog) Also, the entire time I have lived here I've had to listen to the most annoying dripping sound coming from the roof, outside of our bedroom window it sounds like golf balls dropping, no joke! I seriously cannot fall asleep w/o the fan on high even in the winter. Honestly, you should really think twice & maybe read some of the other reviews before even thinking about moving here. I wish I had. Because this has been the worst apt. living experience I have ever had.

Wow! This resident was REALLY upset! I work in the leasing office at Clackamas Trails and have been here for the last four years. This property is not perfect, I don't know one that is but we do our best! In response to some of the things this resident said:
* The day your lease expires is not a secret. When you sign a lease the day your lease begins and ends is very clear and you will always receive a copy of your rental agreement.
*We can never guarantee our community is perfectly safe...no one can. There have been people who have lived here for years with no problems at all! Our leasing office is onsite, quite a few members of management live onsite and we do require a clean criminal background to live with us. The safety of our residents is VERY important to us but each person has to do their part. For example: Don't leave valuable items in your car.
* Like most communities we have a pest control company who comes out each and every month! It is ridiculous for someone to say we wouldn't do anything about ants or fleas.
*Any type of mold growth in your apartment is treated VERY seriously! Window mold in Oregon is actually pretty normal. Anyone with a semi clean household knows how to maintain the small amount of mold that grows on the windows.
* I seriously doubt we actually charged someone a pet fine for a pet we saw "outside" their apartment. And the pet fine is actually $250, not $275. The exaggerations are the worst part of this site!
*It sounds like a gutter was clogged by their apartment (golf ball noise). This is a common problem and upon notification we would clear the gutter so the water runs down into the ground. You have to let us know if you want something fixed....
If you are reading these apartment ratings please remember that each community (not just Clackamas Trails) has its problems. With people living so close together things are bound to happen. Communicate with your leasing office so they have every opportunity to fix your problems. We can't fix what we don't know about!!
