Clackamas Village

Do not live here!!! Unsafe!! From: ghoddesss@yahoo.com Date posted: 7/7/2006 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006   I have lived at Clackamas Village for over five years, in that time safety has spiraled downward. Between the break-in's, assults and drive by shooting's, the management has done nothing. Screw the rent-a-cop security 4 nights a week. That obivously does nothing, it's the type of people they let rent the apartments. I work in the multi-family industry and I have never dealt with such a rude and unhelpful staff. You would think that an apartment community would want to keep a long time resident, who is never late with the rent or has any type of complaints. The last straw for me is when the apartment below me was shot 10 times and two days earlier there was a drive-by on the property!! All the management had to say was that they evicted the person and the security was not on duty that night! Unacceptable!! Other random complaints... Can't ever use the laundry facilities, very few, short hours. Walking through the mud on a daily basis to get to my apartment (even though it's paved), poor landscaping in general Wading through a sea of kids playing on the sidewalks is really fun especially when you're carrying a few bags of groceries No incentive to renew your lease after the first year Maint. staff doesn't know how to fix anyting, you're better off doing it yourself Electrical boxes are easily accessable and my power is turned off at least once a month by some punk kid, mgmt would not accept responsibility for my ruined food You may ask why I stayed so long'! Can't really beat the rent and I mostly stayed at my bf's house.
