I recently moved out of Cedar Mill Crossing because of a job transfer out of state, but I have to say while I lived there, it went from bad to working on great. When I first moved in it was kind of scary and then about a year or so ago we received new management and at first I wasn't sure, but things had progressively gotten better. It got a little noisy at times with the construction that they are doing, but it's starting to look really great. I had a chance to see one of the new apartments with the washer and dryer, and if I had been able to stay in Oregon I would have definantly wanted to move into one of those apartments. I was impressed with the staff that came in, and took charge and even though I didn't agree with some of the charges I received at move out because of what my cat had done, I do understand where they are coming from, but all in all because I cleaned my apartment I only lost out on a small amount of my deposit.

You must have gotten way lucky, because that was NOT my experience!

You really shouldn't have lost out on ANY of your deposit, since they've been tearing up all the units to "upgrade" them. Considering they literally gutted many units (after kicking out many, many people to do it), it shouldn't matter what your cat did to them. I do know that they're still renting out units that have not yet been renovated; they're just going to decide to force anyone who rents those ones out in a couple of months on a whim, I'm sure, whenever they can afford to finish the extensive remodeling job they've so foolishly undertaken. This fact is utterly disgusting. They kicked me out a couple of months ago... after the shock wore off, I realized what an absolute blessing that was. I even got all my deposit back somehow. I think it's because they knew I'd fight them for it.
