I rented at ceder mill crossing for a year and paid my rent on time each month. in November 2008.I recieved a 30 day notice without cause and I have children, now I'm homeless for the holiday's with my children , unable to have christmas and new years in a warm and suitable place to call home.I am one of the unfortunante residents who recieved a 30 day notice due to the construction. the management are heartless to throw me and my children and several other tenants out in the cold weather before christmas.they could have waited till after the holidays . very cruel and hartless tandem properties did not care they just needed to have a tax right off......

I'm sorry this happened to you. I'm sure that whoever moves into your former home will be completely ignorant to the fact that this had to happen to you and your family so that someone with more money (which is fake anyway) could live there. what an excellent 'upgrade' America.
I just don't get it. You people of portland have bumper stickers all over your cars to "protest" this kind of thing yet you can't tell when it happens right under your nose!
I'm seriously glad whenever I hear that place got vandalized or destroyed in any way because it just hasn't happened soon enough. Everytime you see that on the news, you better believe that they have deserved it.
Now I'm just waiting to hear Tandem start to beg for some of that 700Billion because they are run the exact same way the other big beggars ran their ----.

I was stupid and desparate, I was homeless too, with children and no where to go right after the holidays. We finally got approved for this (cute little apartment) They offered a deal no one could refuse! only $99 to move in, first months rent free and second months rent prorated. Who could pass that up? Well because we were homeless we did not have a computer, we were just looking thru the newspaper and driving around. This place looked ok and wasnt going to charge an application fee either. So we applied and got it for dirt cheap. After moving in and unpacking we find out that everyone has been getting kicked out and the place is being renovated. We are now sitting on our toes wondering when our turn is going to come. We cannot afford to move again, and we are tired from unpacking for the last two weeks. They offer us this great deal to move in and we didnt even get a remodled unit!!! How fair is that?
