I was blind-sided by a complex that wanted to make the most money it could via the circumstances. When I set up an appointment to view the apartments, they proceeded to show me the apartment I thought I'd be living in. They lied. The day I rented a truck to move in all my things, I went down to the office to finish my paperwork. It was then that they told me they were remodeling the whole complex and could only give me a month to month lease and on top of that, they could kick me out whenever they wanted. I had no choice at that point. I had already moved all my things out of my old place and was overdue on my 30 day notice there. I had to move in. Then they gave me the key for my new place. When I walked in, it was NOTHING like where they told me I'd be staying. There was dirt on the floor and needless to say it wasn't worth the hassle. Over the past for months of staying here, I've had to deal with neighbors partying until 3am and keeping me awake, the people below me like to come outside naked and let their stupid dog bark FOR HOURS ON END, and never once when there was a maintenance problem was I given notice that someone would be working on my place. I got out of the shower one day and there was a guy on my back deck doing something to my door. When I called to complain, the woman said the workers don't speak english and probably don't understand that they need to give the office notice when they do construction. That told me that management has no regard for tenant safety and has no clue exactly who is working where or what is being done. In closing, if you're looking for a place that will make your hair fall out, this is it.
