I reviewed a lot of these "apartment ratings" website before moving into Deveraux Glen and came to the conclusion that no one is going to write on these sites if they are completely satisfied with their apartment. Let's face it, apartments aren't homes... so natually you are going to have issues.
I have lived at Deveraux Glen for about 3.5 months and honestly have been very happy with my apartment thus far.
Moving in was a bit frustrating-- dealing with the 26 page lease etc... but they did end up giving us a pretty fair deal. Barely any move-in fees and a $1000 gift card. Plus two months of free rent.
The rent staff is pretty nice-- a little too "salesy" as expected. The one manager lady is a bit crazy and seemed to be on drugs. But maybe that is just her personality.
Before moving in I was very concerned about parking. I know this is a huge pain-point for many residence, however our apartment resides where there is ample parking on the street. There is hardly any parking in the interior area of the complex which could be a huge inconvenience if you live away from the street. Carports are really overpriced at 55 dollars.
The apartments are really spacious. All of them have 9 foot ceilings which make the place seem a lot bigger. We have had some problems with neighbors being too loud... but nothing you wouldn't expect from living below someone.
The kitchens are great-- one that you can actually cook in!
The rent is a bit high-- however... I looked at many other apartments in the area and for what you get... its pretty competitive. There is a place up the road that is a little bit cheaper-- but MUCH smaller and dated.
The maintenance staff seems to be pretty responsive. We had lights burned out and put in a request on Friday. They came to fix it on Sunday.
The workout room is really nice-- Much bigger than you would see at a normal complex... But this complex is huge. I haven't run into any problems getting a machine.
Another plus is the washer and dryer. The apartments have a seperate wash/dryer room which is nice... rather than those crappy accordian doors they usually have.
My only advice is to make sure you take your time looking at the apartment before you sign the lease... and check out the parking situation!
Overall-- I love it here.

They have no respect for the tennants. We were robbed on the first of the month and asked if we could pay rent on the 14th because the money was stolen, they said that would be no problem. We gave them the rent at 2 o'clock on the 14th and at 3:00 they taped signed eviction papers with a hearing notice to our door. I can understand their actions if we didn't talk to them about our situation, and we didn't pay when we said we would. But we did talk to them and gave them the money due. It's really insulting to be treated like delinquents.
