Been living at this complex for one year now (moved in Jan 07). I live on the east side of this complex where construction has been complete for at least the past six months. As for neighbor noise, I have no wall to wall neighbors (lucked out with my location!). I do have a neighbor above me, but I hardly notice. Perhaps she's just light footed'

Parking is bad, but I don't go out much and when I do I get lucky so I haven't rented a carport. Just an FYI, carports are currently $55/mo.

The appliances are all excellent, except for the dishwasher which is mediocre at best. Perhaps I just got a lemon, but I'm too lazy to do anything about it and it works well enough.

Maintenance is superb! Although calling the centralized number is annoying (I've been on hold for up to five minutes), they've taken care of everything the next day no problem. One time my door lock broke for some reason and they fixed that within three hours. Someone on here said you need to pay for light bulbs and put them in yourself...huh' Call the number, they take care of everything for you.

I noticed people complaining about rent increases. My rent increased 1.25%. Less than inflation is not bad now is it' Obviously, if you choose month-to-month rather than resigning your rate will go up dramatically. I had the option of renewing for a 13 or 14 month lease. Huh' Just make it 12 please! But I took the 13 as it doesn't really matter right now.

Obviously this is a really rare case. As you read these review, almost everyone has complained, and most of them are all the same. But hey good for you........ wish we would have been that lucky.

Why the hell do question marks show up as ' But anyway, I doubt mine is a rare case. I would think most that are merely satisfied with their apartment won't search out this site to write a review.

Let's remember what this web site is for people. It's a web site that intends for people to rate their apartment complex. It's good to hear about some of this stuff but honestly, no one really writes a review when they're satisfied with something.....they're happy...they don't need to write anything. it's when they're dissatisfied and want to complain a lot that they write something, and it's usually negative. When reading through these types of sites, remember that. If you just go by what a handful of people are saying about how "bad" it is and ignore the fact that it is a huge complex and the satisfied people don't have a need to be complaining on this site, you will not actually get a true feel of what the community is like. My suggestion, go in, talk with management and get a feel for them. If your gut says okay, then maybe drive through the complex a few different times during the week, like on a Friday/Saturday afternoon or evening. Roll down your windows and just listen as you drive through. Observe the environment. Do this at different times during the day and week. Even drive through at 1:00 in the morning and take a listen. It's your perogative. Then you'll have a better idea of what the complex is like. As for dog crap, light bulbs, parking woes, and snobby management....if you can't separate yourself from these things you won't be happy in any apartment setting. So buy a house. If you can't buy a house then rent a townhome, and if you can't rent a town home and you still can't bear apartment living, you could always live in a van down by the river!! :)
