We moved into DG because we thought the decorated apartments were really nice and they gave us a free months rent. Right after we moved in, the problems started. First of all, let me add to the growing list of complaints about the parking!!! Absolutely RIDICULOUS!!! Both my boyfriend and I worked late and hardly ever got a spot in the parking lot. One of the few times we took a chance and parked near one of the MANY red painted fire lanes (which was still actually a parking spot that they recently painted red) our car was towed by some troll looking for violators in the wee hours of the morning. MORE than half the spots that are "reserved" for those that want to rent them are empty and if front of the town homes that have garages.

We had to move apartments a month after we moved in because our apartment flooded. They said it was because of the rain, but it leaked out of the ceiling and we were on the ground level...I really don't know how that happens. We had a HUGE hole in our ceiling for a couple of days before we told them we WILL move apartments (I was eight months pregnant and didn't want to bring home a new baby into an apartment that would eventually mold). They hassled us when we said we would pay the deposit on the new place AFTER we receive our deposit back from the first place (sorry, we don't have 1200 dollars just lying around!). When we told them this, they called us on a late Sunday night telling my boyfriend that he should "be a man, work more and learn how to take care of your finances!!!!" Wish I was kidding!!!!

The management was HORRIBLY RUDE!!! I have NEVER come across such a SHADY and RUDE management team, not even in my previous junky, cheap apartments. The construction was shoddy, and the carpets were coming up at the seams. We were apparently the first tenants, so I don't understand how in the ten months we lived there this happens. We could hear toilets flushing, conversations, and every footstep from our upstairs neighbors. The hot tub either never worked or had sooo much chlorine and chemicals it literally was like soaking in bleach. Our nostrils burned for a week.

For the 1187.00 we paid a month (we broke down and rented a carport because of our new baby) it is MOST DEFINITELY not worth it!!! They put on a good show! BEWARE!

We just moved out of that hell hole about 2 months ago, and let me tell you, WE ARE SO HAPPY! Our lives, our sleep, our parking, our noise, our management, and just our well being is so much better! Life changing. We really didn't realize how horrible our lives were there until we moved into a wonderful apartment. DG was like PSU student housing, it was a joke. Thank god we don't have to deal w/that anymore. We live in a mature complex, our sleep is great, we have a reserved parking spot included in our rent, quiet neighbors, thick walls (haven't heard our neighbors, at all), lots of windows, no mold, and just way better than that horrible place. We feel sorry for everyone still there, we hope you get out soon and become happier people again! Trust us, your lives will change for the better once you move!

They are apparently going so assigned parking in the future here, but beware the notice that they put out, said there will be no guest passes/parking, they would have to park in the street parking which is probably 1 spot for every 20 units in the place.
